Tours I Recommend

I’ve taken all of these tours, so I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Barcelona Family Tour with Runner Bean – This tour company is run by a local couple who’s been giving these tours for at least a few years now. My whole family (3 kids!) got some activity pages and even visited a historic sweets shop. We were all engaged while learning about Barcelona history. Book a family tour with Runner Bean Tours

Review of a Context Tour: Barcelona, Gaudi and Modernism – If you want to go extra deep and immerse yourself with academic knowledge of Barcelona, go with Context Tours. The docents (not “guides”) are academics and have a profound understanding of Barcelona. Just read their bios on the website. My docent, Mónica, was a certified expert and architecture historian with specialized knowledge in Gaudí and modernism. Highly recommend! Book your tour with Context Tours.

Sips, Sites, and Bites: Review of Eye on Food Tours, Barcelona – Passion and food really go hand in hand with Eye on Food Tours. They are very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. My guide, Adrian, even told me he’s gone out with customers after hours! The tour itself is excellent too. You eat at real authentic, generations-old Barcelona bars and restaurants. Definitely book here! You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance too. Click on the first choice highlighted in blue –>> Book your tour with Eye on Food Tours

Steel Donkey Bike Tours: Biking Through Barcelona – This is a really fun, energetic tour of Barcelona. I’m not in the best shape, and I was able to keep up. It was exhilarating to see the Gothic Quarter, Poblenou, Barceloneta, and so much more in such a short amount of time. These guys have been around forever too. Book here for a Steel Donkey bike tour
